Case 45: Main Focus on this case |

Half of the world's forests that have been lost in the past 10,000 years have been destroyed in the past 80 years, and half of the world's forests have been destroyed in the past 30 years. In 1997, the World Resources Institute recorded that only 20% of the world's forests can still maintain original appearance of the original forest. More than 75% of these intact forests are located in the frigid forests of Russia, the frigid forests of Canada, and the tropical rain forests of Brazil in these three countries. According to the World Forest Map released by Greenpeace on March 2, 2006, satellite images were used to assess global forests and found that only 10% of the earth’s land area was left undisturbed forest. Among the 148 countries within the forest belt, 82 countries have completely lost their undisturbed virgin forests. Through learning, I hope everyone has a certain understanding of the situation of deforestation, the charcoal market, and bamboo charcoal.
